Starting from the special dried figs (became "garrison Slow Food"), going on with the ancient macaroons, the well-known red wine "Carmignano" DOCG (controlled and guaranteed place name, the most ancient of Italy, as it has been decreed in 1716 from the grand Duke Cosimo III De' Medici), to end with the extra virgin olive-oil "Toscano" DOC (controlled place name) of Montalbano: these are the most characteristics products of the territory of Carmignano, which lead to a real enogastronomic itinerary. In addition to Prato, Pistoia and Florence, our hotel is a few steps away from other important cities of art of our region like Vinci (15 kms.), Lucca and Pisa (50 kms.), Siena (60 kms.).
